This policy explains what the TeamLogic Internal Connector accesses and how that data is handled. The Software is operated by Manhattan Managed IT Corp, doing business as TeamLogic IT Financial District NYC, 85 Broad Street, Suite 17029, New York, NY 10004.
Whose data is involved
Only our own. The Software is authorized against a single QuickBooks Online company file belonging to Manhattan Managed IT Corp. It does not connect to any customer's or third party's QuickBooks company, and it is not offered to anyone outside our company.
What it accesses
- Accounting records in our QuickBooks company: invoices, estimates, credit memos, payments, customers, vendors, bills, purchases, accounts, items, and journal entries.
- Standard QuickBooks reports, such as Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and accounts receivable and payable aging.
- Company profile information, such as legal name, address, and fiscal year start.
Records in QuickBooks may include names, business addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and amounts billed for the customers and vendors of our business.
Read only
Every request the Software makes to Intuit is a read request. It cannot create, change, void, or delete anything in QuickBooks. Intuit grants accounting read and write together as one permission, so this restriction is enforced in the Software itself rather than by the scope of the connection.
Why we access it
To answer internal business questions from authorized staff, for example which invoices are outstanding, what a customer's balance is, or how the current period compares with the last one. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision that affects any individual.
Where the data goes
- Accounting data is fetched on demand and returned to the person who asked. We do not copy your QuickBooks records into a separate database or data warehouse.
- Requests and answers pass through an internal assistant we operate on our own server. To generate an answer, the relevant query result is processed by our artificial intelligence provider, Anthropic, under our commercial agreement with them, solely to respond to the request that triggered it.
- We do not sell data, we do not rent or trade it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not disclose it to any other third party except where required by law or where necessary to protect our legal rights.
Credentials and security
- The connection uses Intuit's OAuth 2.0. We never see or store a QuickBooks password.
- Tokens are stored in a permission restricted file on a private server we control, readable only by the service account that runs the Software. They are not stored in source code, in shared documentation, or in any file synchronization service.
- Access to the server and to the internal assistant is limited to authorized staff.
Retention
Tokens are retained until the connection is revoked or the integration is retired, then deleted. Operational logs, which record that a request happened and whether it succeeded, are kept for a limited period for troubleshooting. Accounting records themselves remain in QuickBooks, which stays the system of record.
Disconnecting
An administrator of our QuickBooks company can end access at any time under Apps, then Disconnect, or by contacting us. On disconnection, tokens are revoked by Intuit and removed from our server, and the Software can no longer read anything. See Disconnect.
Children
The Software is a business tool for our employees. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly process data about them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The version published at this address is the version in effect, and material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.
