Internal use only. This connector serves one QuickBooks Online company, the one belonging to Manhattan Managed IT Corp. There is nothing to sign up for, and a connection cannot be started by anyone outside our company.
How a connection is established
- An administrator of our QuickBooks Online company signs in to Intuit and authorizes the connector for the accounting scope.
- Intuit returns a token to our internal system, which stores it in a permission restricted file on a private server we operate.
- The connector then reads accounting data on request, and only ever reads.
Reconnecting
A connection needs to be re-authorized if it has been revoked in QuickBooks, or if it has gone unused long enough for Intuit to expire it. The steps are identical to the ones above. Nothing is lost by reconnecting, because no accounting records are copied out of QuickBooks.
